Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global market leader, in a fast-paced role where you'll be able to see your designs come to life on the manufacturing floor.

They pride themselves on a great culture and providing a massive amount of technical support for new staff. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D team.
In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept briefs through to completion on the shop floor. You'll be dealing with initial technical designs using SolidWorks, through to dealing with BOMs through to manufacture. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

THE ROLE:
*SolidWorks Design across a range of underwater products
*R&D projects - working throughout the full process from concept to manufacture
*Developing new design concepts
*Production/Industry Training
THE PERSON:
*Min 1-year experience as a Design Engineer
*Ideally a background in Mechanically Assembled products
*Previously used SolidWorks
*Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
*No Relocators (unless a tie to the area)
