Job Responsibilities
* Development & delivery of solutions to manufacturing/assembly issues
* Design & Development of innovative design solutions for electro-mechanical assemblies
* Work on specialist products & custom builds, identifying effective solutions for strong DFM
* Commitment to continuous improvement & cost reduction projects
* Working closely with Production & Assembly Teams
Skill Required
* Full product life cycle experience, designing something yourself
* Engineering Degree and 5 years in industry within Design
* Sheet Metal, Casing, Enclosures design experience is essential
* It is advantageous to hold some of the following: cooling technologies, optical measurement, temperature control systems, positioning control systems
Compensation & Other Benefits
* £45,000 to £55,000 per annum + Benefits
* Working with a newly created department as part of the continued development programme within the business
