Contract Outline:
Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Sector: Gas / Wastewater
Location: Macclesfield (hybrid working)
Contract Length: 12-months
Outside IR35
Rate: £50ph
Role Overview:
The design of mechanical systems for the gas / water utilities sector, for feasibility, conceptual and detailed designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Producing Feasibility, Conceptual and Detailed Design documents.
Produce Design drawings using AutoCAD 2D and 3D software.
Preparing design packs for internal and external client reviews.
Producing designs in accordance with the relevant client and onshore gas network design codes, regulations, specifications and procedures.
Review other design disciplines to ensure project alignment.
Working in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015.
Attending and participating in internal and external meetings to review designs.
Key Skills / Quals:
Mechanical (or similar) Engineering degree.
Gas design experience is essential.
AutoCAD experience is preferential.
G/17 G/35 Approver / Appraiser is preferentialBefore You Apply
