Training and progressionWe're looking for experienced design engineers with a passion for military/ defense projects in an expanding and developing industry. The work is bespoke- so no two days are the same!
Roles/Responsibilities
Mechanical design of heavy duty vehicle components- chassis, suspensions, axles, breaking & pressing systems, machine components, couplings and moving parts
Creating hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
Utilizing Solidworks software
Project management including presentations, liaison with production and follow-ups
Be in office 5 days per weekWhat We're Looking For
A degree or relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a related subject
10 years experience in mechanical design
Experience of heavy engineering- sheet metal, fabrication, and welding design
A background in lifting systems, excavating equipment, special purpose machinery, access platforms is all favourable
