Mechanical Electrical Fitter
Rate: £28.97 + 16.59% holiday PAYE or £39.24 Umbrella
Inside IR35
Based in Acton Town
Permanent Night Shift- 7.45pm - 5am Monday-Thursday night
Our client, a prominent player in the rail industry, is currently seeking a Mechanical Electrical Fitter to join their team on a contract basis.
We are currently recruiting Mechanical fitters to work on the S Stock upgrades at Acton Railway Engineering works.
candidates should be able to demonstrate a level 3 Electrical or mechanical qualification or equivalent.
Must be able to read and follow detailed work instructions and component assembly drawings, be familiar with general hand tools, bearing press and power tools.
Must understand how to set and use a Torque Wrench and understand the principles of their use including witness marking.
There will be a requirement for the use of overhead cranes and other workshop equipment for which training will be provided.
Understand and be able to use basic measuring tools, Vernier, Micrometer and ruler.
