Job Description

We’re looking for a Contract Mechanical Engineer to support a short-term engineering data migration project. This is a hands-on role focused on reviewing, updating, and transferring mechanical drawings into a new system.
 
What you’ll be doing
Reviewing and updating mechanical drawings (tolerances, standards, manufacturability)
Transferring CAD data between systems
Ensuring correct version control and data integrity
Supporting a structured engineering data migration projectWhat you’ll need
Strong mechanical engineering background
Proven experience with SolidWorks
Ability to read and modify engineering drawings confidently
Experience with PDM / data management systems
Detail-oriented, methodical approachContract details
Duration: 6–9 months
Start: ASAP
Location: Predominantly on-site in Cambridge
Rate: Negotiable
