Mechanical Engineer – Facilities Management
Location: Oxford
Rate: £18-20 per hour (temp to perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, weekend work available
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We’re recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, maintaining a portfolio of commercial and public sector buildings.
You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance on a range of building services systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on all mechanical plant, including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, boilers, pumps, and valves
*
Fault finding, repairs, and small installations on site
*
Work closely with clients and site teams to deliver a high standard of service
*
Complete all compliance and maintenance documentation accurately
*
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating
* Proven experience within a Facilities Management or Building Services environment
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems and plant room operations
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsBefore You Apply
