The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Mechanical Engineer?
Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations with minimal supervision.
Perform both planned and reactive works on a range of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.
Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and provide support during fire evacuations.
Ensure full compliance with water treatment regulations (including L8).
Participate in the on-call rota and offer cross-functional assistance to other service lines when required.
Safely and efficiently maintain and operate mechanical plant equipment.
Mentor and support Maintenance Assistants, Trainees, and Apprentices to develop their skills.
Complete necessary training to achieve and maintain Authorised/Competent Person status in disciplines such as HVAC, Pressure Systems, F-Gas, and Water.
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
What are we looking for in our next Mechanical Engineer?
Solid, hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and building services.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Sound knowledge of water hygiene standards (L8), HVAC systems, and pressure systems.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
