Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
South Lincolnshire
Up to £52,500 + Overtime + Staff Discounts
4 on / 4 off - Days & Nights
We're looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing food production site on a 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern.
This role offers a fantastic salary, regular overtime paid over x1.5, and the chance to be part of major upcoming engineering projects. On top of that, the site actively invests in its engineers - offering structured training and development that can lead to a higher salary once you demonstrate competency in new areas.

The role
Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
Work on machinery including slicing machinery, check weighers, and packaging equipment
Support installation, commissioning, and upgrade projects
Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability
About you
Apprentice-trained or qualified in mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
Food manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
Skilled in mechanical fault finding, repairs, and equipment optimisation
Positive, proactive, and eager to learn new skills
