Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Long-Term Temp
Location: London
Pay: £23.00 - £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Ongoing Temp (Full-Time, Monday to Friday)
We are currently looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join a building services team supporting a range of commercial properties across London on a long-term temporary basis.
This role will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical work, working across busy and well-maintained commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
Carry out PPMs and mechanical repairs on commercial building systems
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues
Work on HVAC systems, including pumps, valves, AHUs, and pipework
Maintain compliance standards and complete job records accurately
Collaborate with other engineers and site staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Strong background in mechanical maintenance within commercial or facilities environments
Hands-on experience with HVAC and building services plant
Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent)
Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Available immediately or on short notice
