We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. They could also consider temporary contractor to offer some cover until the end of the academic year. The position would be 35 hours/4.5 days per week (with an early finish on Fridays).
All of the work will be based at the training provider's main centre in Merseyside, where you would be asked to deliver classroom-based theoretical teaching on the Mechanical Engineering BTEC & HNC programmes (up to level 4).
The starting salary for this position is up to £38,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and the package would also include a stakeholder pension, and 32 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have a teaching qualification and significant and successful teaching experience in:
-Material Science
-Mechanical Principals
-Inspection Testing / Design
-Electro pneumatics / Fluid Mechanics (HNC Pneumatics & Hydraulics)
-Engineering Maintenance, Procedures & Techniques
-Production Engineering for Manufacture
