Mechanical Engineering Trainer, £40,000 – £43,000, Redditch
* £40,000 – £43,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), pension scheme, private medical insurance & excellent training opportunities.
* 36-hour week - Full-time, permanent role – Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm
* A hands-on, technical training role within a leading engineering training provider
Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Technical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Trainer or Engineering Trainer who wants to play a key part in shaping the next generation of engineering talent?
Your background as a Mechanical Engineering Trainer:
* Mechanically biased engineer who enjoys developing others.
* Solid experience in mechanical engineering and mechanical maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and fluid power.
* Good communication & interpersonal skills – able to engage and motivate learners.
* Previous training or assessing experience is beneficial, but engineers with the right mindset and desire to teach will absolutely be considered.
* Already DBS checked / happy to be DBS checked
* Full UK driving licence
Mechanical Engineering Trainer responsibilities:
* Deliver hands-on training and assessments in mechanical maintenance and core engineering skills.
* Support learners across apprenticeship and commercial training programmes.
* Help to create, update and deliver training materials.
* Track learner progress and complete assessment reports / documentation
* Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and safeguarding standards.
* Promote a positive, engaging and safe learning environment
