Job Description

Mechanical Estimator –

📍 London
💰 £90,000+ Package DOE
🏗️ £10m–£15m M&E Projects
🚆 Travel Paid | Bonus | Healthcare | Pension

We are working with a leading MEP contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking to work on major £10m–£15m M&E projects, with a strong pipeline of upcoming work and excellent long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

  * Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tenders

  * Pricing mechanical packages for projects valued at £10m–£15m

  * Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

  * Preparing accurate bills of quantities and cost plans

  * Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations

  * Identifying commercial risks and opportunities

  * Attending tender meetings and site visits where required

  * Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers

  * Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams

  * Supporting the development of competitive and commercially robust tenders

  * Managing multiple tenders and deadlines effectively

About You

  * Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator

  * Strong experience working for an MEP / M&E contractor

  * Experience pricing significant commercial projects

  * Ideally experienced with projects in the £10m–£15m range

  * Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services

  * Excellent knowledge of mechanical packages, suppliers and subcontractors

  * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

  * Confident analysing drawings, specifications and tender documents

  * Excellent communication and negotiation skills
