Mechanical Estimator / Senior Mechanical Estimator (Building Services) Location: Essex
£60,000 to £80,000 + Generous Bonus Scheme + Excellent Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist mechanical building services contractor delivering projects from £50k up to £2m across commercial, industrial, and refurbishment sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing business and take ownership of tenders that make a direct impact on project delivery and company success.
The Role
As Mechanical Estimator, you will:
* Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for mechanical projects from £50k to £2m
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce detailed cost plans
* Work closely with the pre-construction team, project managers, and directors to ensure successful bids
* Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and build relationships to secure best value
* Support client meetings, bid presentations, and handover to project teams
About You
* Experienced Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator within Building Services
* Strong background in mechanical services including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refurbishment projects
* Proven track record delivering tenders in the £50k to £2m range
* Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills
This role would suit those currently working as an experienced Mechanical Estimator, Senior Mechanical Estimator, HVAC Estimator, or Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager within the Building Services sector.
