The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter.
Key Responsibilities
Construction of mechanical systems and equipment to engineering drawings.
Testing, fault-finding, and diagnostics of mechanical equipment.
Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.
To adhere to the company policies and procedures.
To ensure quality standards are met
Person Specification
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building.
Fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
Have an advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
Experience of using hand and power tools.

Pay for the role is £16.42 per hour and the pay rate includes shift allowance
Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time,
The hours are a rotational shift pattern, which are:
AM Shift - 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday then onto the PM Shift
PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2:00pm - 8:00pm
