Job Description

Job description Our client is an Engineering company based in the St.Helens area and they require a skilled Mechanical Fitter. The role involves overhauling and refurbishing electric motors, various pumps and motorised gearboxes. The role is mainly in their workshop but sometimes you will be required to work on site mechanically removing equipment. You should be a time served Mechanical Fitter ideally with experience of repairing and refurbishing pumps, electric motors and gearboxes, any electrical experience would be an advantage. The normal hours of work are 7.45am - 4pm Monday to Thursday with Friday 7.45am - 2.15pm. The basic salary is £38-42K plus regular overtime and call out bonus. This is a permanent role with about 3 months trial with good holiday entitlement, pension and other great benefits.
