🕒 Overtime available Fridays and Saturdays

About the Opportunity
Multitask Recruitment Solutions are working in partnership with an innovative and fast-growing company leading the way in automated machinery for the global production industry. As we continue our expansion, we’re seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our skilled team.
No two machines are the same. We build bespoke, made-to-order equipment, meaning this isn’t a repetitive assembly-line role. You’ll gain valuable experience across the full mechanical build process, from start to finish, supported by expert guidance.
Your Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll:
* Work from detailed mechanical and assembly drawings
* Assemble custom machinery using high-quality engineering practices
* Fit components such as bearings, motors, machine guards, belt and chain drives, pneumatics, and more
* Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
* Strong mechanical fitting experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Confident working with a wide range of mechanical components
* A proactive and diligent approach with a keen eye for quality
* Willingness to learn and expand into electrical systems (training provided)
