What You Will Do:
Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components and sub-assemblies to exacting standards.
Build fabricated assemblies of varying sizes and complexities using skills such as marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending, weld joint preparation, and hydraulic and pneumatic runs.
Work from manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly instructions to ensure precision and alignment.
Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to verify dimensions, alignment, and overall finish.
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Undertake additional duties as required to support the production team and meet company objectives.
What You Will Bring:
A solid engineering background with proven experience in mechanical fitting and assembly.
Expertise in using hand and power tools to construct large and small fabricated components.
Knowledge of circuitry related to pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrics, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience in industries such as aviation, military, marine, or similar sectors is highly advantageous.
