Ambitek are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Fitter who specialises in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal pumps and associated rotating machinery.

The Role
*
Assemble, install, and commission centrifugal pumps and related mechanical systems.
*
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.
*
Conduct alignment, balancing, and performance testing of rotating equipment.
*
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and engineering specifications.
*
Adhere to strict safety and quality standards at all times.
*
Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
About You
*
Proven track record as a Mechanical Fitter with a strong focus on centrifugal pumps.
*
In-depth knowledge of pump components, seals, bearings, and rotating machinery.
*
Skilled in precision fitting, alignment, and mechanical fault-finding.
*
Able to confidently interpret technical documentation.
*
Relevant mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
*
Commitment to safe working practices.
Desirable:
*
Industry experience in mining, oil & gas, water treatment, or similar sectors.
