Job Description
Our client, an established and thriving engineering company are seeking a skilled permanent Mechanical Fitter to install, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical systems, machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various industrial machines, tools and components, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime.
Working from their Barking base you will be responsible for:
Installation and assembly
Maintenance and Repair
Safety and Compliance
Documentation and Reporting
CollaborationTo be considered for this role you will need:
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery and components
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals
Hands on experience with tools, welding, grinding and fabrication techniques
Good communication and teamwork
Understanding of safety regulations and industrial standardsSalary and Benefits: £32-38,000 + generous overtime and shift rates
Hours of work: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday plus Overtime
