Contract Mechanical Fitter
Location: Wigan
Duration: 3 – 6 months
Rate: £16 to £18 per hour
An opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Fitter to join a manufacturing company based in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a background of mechanical assembly, build and fitting and ideally have experience working on pneumatic or hydraulic machinery.
Contract Mechanical Fitter Key Skills:
* Experienced mechanical fitter – assembly, build, repairs
* Pneumatic or hydraulic machinery would be a bonus
* Repairs and rebuild experience
* Fabrication and welding experience would be good
* CSCS card (not essential)
* Any maintenance experience would be a bonus
Contract Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
* Assembling and fitting mechanical machinery
* Repairs on heavy machinery
* Fabrication and welding
* Using hand tools on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Troubleshooting and diagnostics
