Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Melton Mowbray (Commutable Distance)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. Based within a commutable distance of Melton Mowbray, this role offers a mix of both static and mobile work, giving you the chance to develop a wide range of skills and experience across different environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is technically minded, eager to develop, and open to learning new skills – particularly within pipework installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out mechanical fitting, assembly, installation and maintenance of equipment (pumps, valves etc.).
Supporting projects both on-site (workshop) and across customer locations (mobile).
Working with precision tools, machinery, and various materials.
Learning and assisting with pipework installation and associated systems.
Following health & safety standards and company procedures.
Delivering high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical engineering role.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance practices.
Willingness to learn and develop pipework skills (full training provided).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel locally when required.
Full UK driving licence.
Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
Able to read and interpret process drawings.
