What You’ll Be Doing
* Precision Assembly & Refurbishment: Build and restore mechanical components to exacting standards using detailed engineering drawings.
* Heavy Equipment Overhaul: Strip down, assess, and rebuild gearboxes, drive assemblies, crushers, winches, and more.
* Quality & Testing: Ensure every component meets our rigorous performance and safety benchmarks.
* Materials Handling Expertise: Fit and construct large-scale conveyor systems and other handling equipment.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
* 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience in heavy equipment, mining, recycling, or industrial sectors.
* Strong hands-on skills in mechanical fitting, overhaul, and refurbishment.
* Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
* Safety-first mindset and sharp attention to detail.
* Team player with the confidence to work independently.
