Job Description
Our client, a leading construction company, is currently seeking a Mechanical Foreman to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a contract position within the construction industry, making it a significant opportunity for those with a strong mechanical background and leadership skills. The role involves supervising mechanical installation teams and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and Irish building regulations.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, labour hours, and site issues.
Assist in resolving technical or coordination issues on-site.
Job Requirements:
Fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling).
Significant experience in mechanical installation, with experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or data centre projects is an advantage.
Full, clean driving licence (desirable).
