Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our client growing team in Basildon on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment, playing a key role in ensuring the quality of our mechanical components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed mechanical inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
*
Use a range of inspection equipment, including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable)
*
Identify and report non-conformances and support root cause analysis
*
Accurately complete inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
*
Liaise with production and quality teams to ensure product quality and continuous improvement
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
*
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
*
Proficient with manual measuring instruments; CMM experience is desirable but not essential
*
Good communication skills and attention to detail
*
Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts
