Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based up in the High Peak area. Working a double day's shift pattern, the roles centres around maintenance of the process wrapping and packaging machinery. The role offers a good blend of work life balance and the engineering challenge all engineers crave.
We are looking for a time served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, who has experience in a manufacturing maintenance role. An engineer with their own tools is preferred, with experience marking out, drilling and tapping highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Reactive & Planned Maintenance. Utilise SAP CMMS system for recording breakdowns, ordering of spare parts, and booking out spare parts from the technical stores. Execute planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
Experience of working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience of working within highly automated processes
Experience marking out, drilling and tacking
Electrical or multi-skilled with a strong electrical bias
