Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - 3-Shift Rotation
Location: Dudley
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000
Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your expertise will be valued and your career supported?
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team on a rotating 3-shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in keeping our clients operations running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs on a wide range of mechanical equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime
Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment performance is optimised
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors)
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
