Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Shift – Double Days (Monday to Friday)
Salary - £40,000 plus shift allowance (overtime available) and profit share bonus.

About the Role
We're working with a leading manufacturing business, seeking a talented Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of their specialist production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance on production machinery, including preventative and reactive work
Set and maintain machine performance to high standards within set timeframes
Respond to technical queries from production staff and report any issues
Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and improve efficiency
Manage your own workload
What We're Looking For
A strong mechanical background and experience of working with hand tools
An engineering qualification – ideally mechanical
Good GCSE levels (or equivalent) in Maths, English, Science, and Technology
Manual dexterity, good eyesight, and ability to work at height safely
Strong inquisitive nature, methodical problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate effectively
