Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter with food industry experience to start as soon as posiible on our Client's busy food site based in Milton Keynes.
You will be carrying out the following duties:
Monday, Tuesday – working alongside the day shift engineers carrying out preventative maintenance and corrective actions. There is a window of 2 ½ hours per line per day to complete the works.
Wednesday and Thursday - working alongside the day shift engineers carrying out preventative maintenance and corrective actions. They have a window of 8– 10 hours each day
Fridays – Working with the weekend day shift engineers, carrying out preventative maintenance and corrective actions. They have 1 line for 2 ½ hours to complete works.
Outside of the maintenance windows you will assist with breakdowns, carry out PPMs on other equipment such as cookers, dolav lifters, greasing and lubrication and corrective works which can be carried out without interfering with production.
