As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery and equipment. This will include refurbishing and repairing conveyors, mixers, heaters, pumps, and other critical components. You will also be required to remove and replace machine guards, handrails, and other ancillary metalwork.
The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will have a strong background in machine maintenance, with excellent hands-on knowledge of mechanical plant machinery. Proficiency in using workshop equipment, such as turning, milling, and grinding, is essential.
