Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Braunstone, Leicestershire
£58,800
Days Mon – Fri – 37.5 Hours a Week
Benefits:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join us at our high-speed manufacturing plant in Braunstone. We are already a household name within FMCG and have extensive expansion plans over the next 12-18 months including the installation and commissioning of 2 brand new fully automated production lines.
This role will largely be based out on the shop floor and for the vast majority is not a desk-based management role – This role will suit someone who is comfortable with an 80/90% shop floor based position
Role and Responsibilities
Management of a team of mechanical shift engineers – 8 engineers in total
Coordinating maintenance, delegation of work, presenting reports in production meetings, and ordering spares
Producing SOPs for jobs
Contractor management on maintenance/projects
Work to strict health and safety laws/permits and risk assessments
The Successful Candidate
Time served apprenticeship – Essential
Prior knowledge in metal forming/metal working is highly beneficial (CNC/Press Tooling/Aeronautical background)
Ideally qualified to a minimum of HNC level in a mechanical engineering discipline
Strong organisational/management skills
