Mechanical Plant Operator
Location: Cardiff
Hourly Rate: £19 per hour
Hours: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plant Operator based in Cardiff to join a dynamic team. This role involves all aspects of mobile and fixed plant maintenance and repair, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance and repair on a range of mobile and fixed plant machinery
Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing repairs promptly
Ensuring all plant equipment complies with safety and operational standards
Working independently and as part of a team to support operational needs
Keeping accurate records of maintenance work
Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of plant machinery
Strong knowledge of both mobile and fixed plant equipment
Ability to work reliably within set hours
Commitment to health and safety standards
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 (1-hour lunch)
