The Role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Pre-Contracts Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Mechanical Services Director, you will lead all mechanical and public health services activity at the pre-construction stage. You’ll play a key role in surveying, tendering and coordinating designs for commercial fitout projects already secured with our main client. This is a hands-on position requiring a mix of technical knowledge, client-facing confidence and internal project coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing
📐 Surveying projects and producing reports
💼 Producing detailed tender bids
🔧 Organising validations and supporting project managers with technical input
💰 Providing fixed costs in line with design and scope
🤝 Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure a smooth handover to construction
What We’re Looking For
✅ 1–2 years’ experience in mechanical design or pre-contracts work
✅ Experience in commercial office fitout
✅ Strong mechanical and public health services design understanding
✅ Confident with Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools
✅ Someone proactive, client-focused and technically confident
