We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Project Engineer to deliver bespoke, turnkey projects from concept to commissioning.
You'll join a forward-thinking engineering business that values innovation, safety, and teamwork - managing multiple small to mid-sized mechanical projects (typically £10k-£250k) across Glasgow.
🚀 What You'll Do
Lead mechanical and process installation projects from design to handover.
Develop tailored mechanical solutions and CAD designs to meet customer needs.
Prepare project documentation - RAMS, test packs, handover records, etc.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope and cost projects.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
🧠 What You'll Bring
HND/Degree in Mechanical (or related) Engineering.
2-3+ years' experience in project-based engineering (mechanical or process).
Strong understanding of manufacturing/production methods and CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Proven ability to deliver turnkey installations end-to-end.
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving licence (field-based with site visits).
