Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC & Plumbing)
Midlands-Based | Projects Across the UK & Ireland
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading mechanical services contractor with a growing portfolio of major HVAC and plumbing installations nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects from conception to completion, delivering high-quality solutions for commercial clients.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing multiple mechanical projects ranging from £20k to £1m, covering:
Installation & Delivery of HVAC systems, heating, ventilation, and hot/cold water services.
Client Liaison - attending site meetings and ensuring clear communication throughout.
Pre-Construction Duties - conducting surveys, supporting tenders, and negotiating contracts.
Resource Coordination - managing subcontractors, labour, and material schedules.
Compliance & Documentation - producing RAMS, O&M manuals, and overseeing health & safety.
Quality Control - monitoring progress, managing variations, and ensuring snag-free handovers.
What We're Looking For
Proven background in HVAC or mechanical building services.
Strong understanding of industry regulations and supplier products.
ONC/HNC in Building Services (HVAC) preferred.
CSCS card essential.
Confident working with CAD drawings and IT systems.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to lead independently while collaborating with wider teams.
