Our client is Europe’s dedicated data centre delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin, they deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in their sector.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our project team in Blyth, United Kingdom.

Role Description:

  * Manage and oversee all aspects of the mechanical scope of works, ensuring delivery in line with project specifications, schedule, and budget.

  * Analyse, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays.

  * Review construction proposals, including scope and cost assessments.

  * Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, package managers, supervisors and foremen.

  * Engage with project stakeholders, including clients, to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals.

  * Liaise with design teams and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Skills/Qualifications:

  * Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing large-scale Mechanical projects such as commercial offices, retail, hotels, schools, or data centres.

  * Data centre project experience is highly desirable.

  * Trade or Engineering qualification preferred, with recent experience in managing major electrical contracts.

  * Proven experience in Mechanical Project Management, with the ability to effectively control scope, schedule, and budget.

  * Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing large installation projects, ideally within data centre delivery or other large-scale mechanical environments.
