Job Description
Time 4 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Temporary Mechanical Project Manager for 3 months work at a Wildlife Park in Lincolnshire, working for a highly leading UK provider of electrical and mechanical engineering service.
My client has earned a reputation for delivering excellence in design, installation, maintenance and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure a cutting-edge service tailored to a customer’s business sector and specific needs
Start date for this role is Monday 16th June 2025
As Mechanical Project Manager you will be working on a refurbishment project which will include the expansion of animal enclosures, and the addition of new interactive spaces.
Key responsibilities:
As Mechanical Project Manager you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the mechanical projects, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will
* Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, and collaborate with management to ensure project success.
* Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Managing resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
* Maintaining clear communication with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
* Ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and industry standards.
* Ensuring all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
* Identifying and addressing potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Resolving issues and conflicts as they arise.
Essential Requirements:
* SMSTS
* Excellent communication Skills – able to liaise comfortably with client and main contractor.
* Previous experience of working on leisure, commercial and tourism projects preferred.
* Able to complete weekly projection costs.
* Recognised, relevant qualification.
* Have detailed knowledge on construction-based health & safety legislation.
* Must be very pro-active.
* Confident with Quality assurance issues.
* Must have a proved track record with
