Mechanical Project Manager
Essex - Office-based, Hybrid, or Remote
Salary: £70,000 per annum

We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a forward-thinking, rapidly growing building services provider delivering innovative solutions across the commercial and retail sectors.

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be managing the full lifecycle of mechanical installations, typically valued between £500,000 and £1.5 million. Projects include public health systems, ventilation, LTHW / CHW systems, and air conditioning - all with a focus on quality, efficiency, and precision.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee project delivery teams - including employed staff, self-employed workers, and subcontractors
Coordinate with commercial and procurement teams for materials and subcontractor packages
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
Solve problems and provide on-site technical guidance
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
Communicate clearly with all stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For:
Background & Experience:
Trade background as a pipe fitter or plumber
Proven experience in a project management role within mechanical servicesSkills & Attributes:
Exceptional organisation and time management
Strong attention to detail, particularly with project data and documentation
Confident communicator - verbal and written
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable
