Job Description
Our client, a leader in providing Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services for diverse construction sectors, is currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team based in Dublin, Ireland. This permanent role focuses on overseeing large-scale projects, particularly within the Data Centre industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects, ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
Familiarise yourself with project details and specifications.
Collate technical submittals and ensure their approval.
Manage labour trackers and maintain progress reports weekly.
Liaise with main contractors and the client's site team.
Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
Ensure adequate materials are always available.
Implement construction and commissioning programmes.
Manage handover processes and document management systems.
Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
Action points from general site meetings and report innovative works to the Contracts Manager.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
Preferred qualification in Construction/Project Management.
Experience supervising teams.
