Winner Recruitment is working in partnership with a reputable and well-established service provider that is expanding its team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Project Manager.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for the profitable planning, scheduling and delivery of all extra works and projects. The Project manager will also ensure that site procedures and processes are in place and operating effectively, being delivered to a high level of safety, to the required quality standards and specification, on time and within budget. To organically grow revenue and delivery by building own team to expand on project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* As a Mechanical Project Manager you will provide clear leadership in identifying, specifying, and developing project opportunities to meet and exceed contractual commitments to drive the strategic development of projects to increase turnover and profitability.
* You will actively support the sales process by developing solutions, attending client presentations, and participating in consultation meetings.
* As a Mechanical Project Manager you will deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders, aiming to exceed expectations wherever possible.
* You will develop and implement project financial plans to ensure both revenue and profit targets are met.
* As a project manager you will ensure effective cash flow by agreeing to appropriate payment schedules, issuing timely invoices, and maintaining debt control within 60 days.
* As a Project Manager you will Identify, manage, and mitigate all project-related risks, including technical, statutory, health and safety, and commercial risks
* You will implement and monitor robust control systems to meet all legal, policy, and contractual obligations.
* As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will ensure healthy and safe working conditions on all projects, in full alignment with company and client HSE policies, including the timely submission of the Health and Safety file and full compliance with CDM regulations.
* You will Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors to secure cost-effective, high-quality solutions, managing subcontractor performance and risk, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and conditions.
* You will optimize project profitability through cost reduction strategies and more effective procurement.
* As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will maintain a strong customer focus across all operations, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building with key client contacts and on-site teams.
Candidate:
* As a Mechanical Project Manager, you must hold qualifications within a mechanical discipline
* You must have high experience in managing multiple mechanical projects at one time
* As a mechanical Project Manager, it would be desirable to hold qualifications in project management e.g. prince 2
* You must have experience in managing health and safety, compliance and stakeholder management
