We are recruiting for an experienced MEP Project Manager (Mechanical) to join a leading Tier 1 building contractor on one of Wales’ most high-profile projects – a landmark £300 million development in Cardiff.
Working directly under the Lead MEP Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical services delivery across the project, coordinating with design, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, programme, and safety standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical building services package on a major new build project.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with programme, cost, and quality targets.
- Work closely with the Lead MEP Manager to integrate mechanical works with wider MEP and construction activities.
- Contribute to planning, design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.

Candidate Profile
- Mechanical background within building services (**essential**).
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior Engineer on major building projects.
- Background may be with a **main contractor** or a **specialist M&E subcontractor**.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage complex technical packages and drive successful delivery.
