Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car
Location: Yorkshire (with regional travel as required)
We are working with a well-established M&E contractor who specialise in delivering technically challenging projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to strengthen their team.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from initial enquiry through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key duties will include:
*
Full responsibility for the management and delivery of mechanical projects
*
Overseeing design, procurement, installation, and commissioning stages
*
Managing project budgets, variations, and reporting
*
Leading site teams and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
*
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards
The Person
We are keen to speak to experienced Mechanical Project Managers with a proven track record in delivering building services projects. Ideally, you will also bring knowledge of fabrication and modular solutions, along with the ability to manage technically complex schemes.
Key requirements:
*
Background in mechanical building services / M&E contracting
*
Project management experience, ideally from £500k+ project values
*
Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills
*
Excellent client-facing and communication abilities
*
Experience with fabrication and/or modular build projects is highly desirable
