the Mechanical Projects Engineer/Senior Projects Engineer job itself where you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities within your area of control are engineered to specification, and delivered safely, profitably and to customer satisfaction.
Scope includes the Project Management, Coordination, Installation and commissioning of large scale MEP, HVAC & specialist mechanical systems retrofit for a large hospital/healthcare facility. Value of initial client/project £10M+ in value. More specifically:
Participate in pre-commencement activities to maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability
Review the project scope of works to ensure precise provision of the customer’s requirements
Lead the identification of project risks and opportunities, and take responsibility to mitigate or enhance those in your control
Ensure engineering solutions are procured and delivered to financial and commercial objectives.
Provide accurate and timely information on site progress to the Project Manager and Commercial Lead
Manage any sub-contract resource if applicable.
Provide leadership to project team members within your area of control, maximising performance and ensuring objectives are met.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Ensure project is closed out in accordance with customer requirements, maximising project profitability
You will have
To be successful as a Senior/Mechanical Projects Engineer, you will have experience working within the Building Services Sector as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, Mechanical Site Manager, MEP Manager or M&E Manager. Plus a healthy mix of the following:
Industry recognised trade or professional mechanical qualification
Specific experience on high value mechanical building service projects (£10m)
