Mechanical Qa/Qc lead | Data Centre Construction - Groningen, Netherlands
Salary + Overseas Allowance + Accommodation + Flights (Rotational basis)
We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking an Mechanical QAQC Lead to join their team on the delivery of Hyperscale Data Centre Construction projects in the Netherlands.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installation quality for a large value, high-tech facility. This will include equipment & material receipt inspections, fabrication inspections, weld inspections, installation inspections, generation of punch lists and de-snagging.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with in-house mechanical & electrical teams and external project partners including vendors and subcontractors.
Role will comprise QAQC walkdown, inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; Piping systems (carbon steel); HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing & drainage systems; Preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Maintaining and presenting weld information & records; Weekly reporting
The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.
Skills and Requirements
Academic and/or trades qualifications in Mechanical discipline
10 years Mechanical QAQC experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5 years exp in a Lead role
Role will be Client facing so good communication skills and presentation is essential.
Data centre experience preferable but not essential
Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC system is requiredBefore You Apply
