Time 4 Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Site Supervisor for 18 months work to join a highly reputable M&E Contractor for Projects in Aberystwyth
This award winning Electrical and Mechanical Contractor is noted for their delivery and quality of projects and cover a number of sectors including commercial, industrial, government and healthcare sectors
As Mechanical Site Supervisor you will be supporting the Mechanical Project Manager
Due to the location of the project with client will cover the cost of accommodation
Your responsibilities as a Mechanical Site Supervisor:
* Work closely and support by the management team and report to the project Manager
* Responsible for managing all aspects of the project at a site level. This will include
* Managing mechanical operatives, managing subcontractors, and the installation of various packages is compliant with the drawings and specification.
* Manage all health, safety and environmental compliance on site including carrying out toolbox talks to operatives and sub-contractors.
* Ensure compliance you will need to ensure you are familiar with the company’s latest policies and stay up to date with any changes to company procedures.
* Responsible for ensuring the installation is done to the highest quality of workmanship using our internal QA procedures to record and track the quality process.
* Report all on site progress and support the customer by attending various site meetings. You will also assist with the commissioning and handover process.
Requirements and Qualifications for this role:
* You must have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a mechanical site supervisor on large scale commercial projects
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* CSCS Card
* Overall knowledge and good understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems and their installation methods.
* Previous experience of managing a range of subcontractors is desirable.
* good time management skills, the ability to multitask and have excellent attention to detail.
* Good IT Skills with experience in Microsoft Office
* Hold a full UK driving license.
