Job Description
Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced mechanical supervisor and mechanical fitters (x2) to start work on a water treament plant on Monday 22nd September. The project with continue for approximately 3 months with more works to follow after.
Project Overview:
We are seeking experienced a mechanical supervisor and mechanical fitters to join a team working on a water treatment plant project. The successful candidates will be working on the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment related to water treatment infrastructure.
Mandatory Requirements (All Roles):
*
Valid CSCS Card
*
Anglian Water Safety Passport (AWSP)
*
Previous experience in water treatment or heavy mechanical installation
*
Good understanding of health and safety on construction/utility sites
Desirable (for Future Projects):
*
Confined Space Entry Certification (Medium Risk or above)
Role-Specific Responsibilities:
Mechanical Supervisor:
*
Oversee and coordinate the activities of mechanical fitters on-site
*
Ensure works are completed according to project specifications and schedules
*
Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings
*
Liaise with site management, engineers, and subcontractors
*
Maintain accurate daily records and reports
*
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with site rules and permits
Mechanical Fitters:
*
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, pipework, screens, etc.)
*
Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
*
Work with various materials (stainless steel, mild steel, plastic pipework)
*
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
*
Support testing and commissioning as requiredBefore You Apply
