Mechanical Supervisor – Data Centre Project

Location: Camberley
Rate: £275–£325 per day DOE
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract
Start Date: 17.10.2026

Previous data centre experience is essential.
Previous experience specifically with CRAC plant replacement works is essential.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a long-term contract opportunity on a major data centre project in Camberley.

The role will focus on the plant replacement element of the project, specifically CRAC units and associated mechanical services.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the mechanical works associated with the replacement and installation of CRAC units and related HVAC plant within a live data centre environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  * Supervising mechanical subcontractors and site teams.

  * Managing CRAC unit replacement and installation works.

  * Coordinating associated pipework, chilled water and HVAC services.

  * Monitoring works against the project programme.

  * Ensuring installations are completed safely and to specification.

  * Reviewing drawings and technical information.

  * Managing quality inspections and snagging.

  * Coordinating with other site disciplines.

  * Supporting testing, commissioning and handover.

Experience Required

  * Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor.

  * Previous data centre experience is essential.

  * Previous experience delivering CRAC plant replacement works is essential.

  * Strong experience with CRAC units and HVAC plant.

  * Experience with chilled water and associated mechanical services.

  * Experience supervising mechanical subcontractors and installation teams.

  * Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.

  * Strong understanding of site health and safety.

Qualifications

  * Relevant mechanical trade qualifications.

  * Gold JIB-PMES Supervisor Card or appropriate CSCS Supervisor Card.

  * SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.

  * First Aid desirable
