Job Description

Mechanical Supervisor – Hospital Project – Bexhill-on-Sea – Up to £400 per day – 6 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading main contractor delivering a hospital project based in Bexhill-on-Sea.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging healthcare scheme with a well-established contractor, offering a competitive day rate of up to £400 per day.

The Role

As Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising mechanical installation works including HVAC, pipework, and associated plant
	
Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades on site
	
Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
	
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
	
Supporting site management with progress reporting and issue resolution
	
Liaising with project teams, engineers, and client representatives

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale construction projects
	
Previous healthcare or hospital project experience is highly desirable
	
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
	
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
	
Black or Gold CSCS card (required)
	
Excellent communication and organisational skills
