Mechanical Supervisor –
MEP Contractor (Residential Projects)
Salary: £57,000 - £60,000 + Travel Expenses
Location: London & Home Counties
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently working in partnership with a leading M&E contractor that has secured over £50 million worth of projects for this year alone, with a strong pipeline of work well into the next few years. Due to continued growth and project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their expanding delivery team.
About the Company:
This is a well-established, reputable MEP contractor with a focus on high-end residential schemes, regularly delivering projects for Tier 1 developers such as Berkeley Group, Higgins, and Hill Group. They have built a solid reputation for quality, timely delivery, and technical excellence across the Greater London and Southeast regions.
The Role:
As Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation across residential projects from first fix through to handover. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure that works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical activities on site
*
Ensure all mechanical works are delivered to programme and quality standards
*
Manage labour and subcontractor performance
*
Liaise with client and other trade supervisors on coordination
*
Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance on site
*
Review drawings and specifications to identify potential issues
*
Attend site meetings and progress reviews
*
Support commissioning and handover processes
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on residential M&E projects
*
Strong working knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, public health etc.)
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Experience working for or with M&E contractors on multi-unit residential schemes
