Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee commercial projects across Central London. Working with a leading M&E contractor, you will be responsible for managing site-based mechanical works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, pipework, and plumbing installations
*
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
*
Monitor site progress and report on timelines, quality, and compliance
*
Ensure all work meets health & safety standards and statutory regulations
*
Oversee material orders, deliveries, and on-site logistics
*
Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions
*
Assist in commissioning and handover of completed systems
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial M&E projects
*
Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations
*
SSSTS/SMSTS and valid CSCS card
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
*
Experience working on fast-paced projects in live environments (e.g., office fit-outs, retail, hospitality)
Desirable:
*
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
*
First Aid certification
*
Experience with CAFM/BIM toolsBefore You Apply
